Ztnexus Institute is a research and training organization founded in 2026 to help mission-driven institutions translate evidence into measurable outcomes.
Why we exist
Enormous effort goes into producing knowledge about what works — in public health, education, social services, and beyond. Far less goes into helping the institutions doing that work absorb it. Reports are published and shelved; training is attended and forgotten; strategy is written and overtaken by events.
Ztnexus was founded on a simple conviction: the gap between academic insight and real-world execution is not closed by more information, but by an integrated approach that connects research, training and strategy into a single, accountable engagement. We call that connection the Nexus Model.
How we work
Every engagement is tailored. We do not maintain a catalogue of generic courses, because the teams we serve do not have generic problems. Instead, each engagement follows our five-step method — Discover, Synthesize, Design, Deliver, Measure — and each concludes with outcome measures, retention checks and a formal report.
Our coaching is practitioner-led: delivered by people who have done the work, for people doing the work. And because we operate across sectors, partners contribute to and draw from a shared evidence base that compounds over time.

Keith started Ztnexus in 2026 to build the organization he kept wishing existed — one that treats turning evidence into practice as a discipline in its own right, not an afterthought tacked onto the end of a research project or the start of a training day.
He leads the institute's methodology — the Nexus Model and its five-step method — and remains directly involved in discovery and design on engagements across the public, academic and nonprofit sectors. His focus is on a single standard: that every engagement should end with capability the partner can demonstrate, measure and keep.

Evidence before opinion
If a recommendation cannot be traced to the evidence base or to documented practice, we do not make it.
Outcomes over optics
Attendance sheets are not results. We define success in terms of demonstrated capability and measured change.
